On-site physiotherapy
Manchester Physio provides an on-site physiotherapy service for employers wishing their staff to be treated at work.
Our specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapists are able to carry out assessments and treatments for staff in the workplace to optimise their recovery at a more suitable time.
Common conditions treated in the workplace can include:
- Neck, shoulder and back complaints
- Postural problems
- Repetitive strain injury
- Carpal tunnel syndrome
The physiotherapists at Manchester Physio can use a variety of treatment options depending on the presenting complaint and the goals of the patient. Treatments that may be used during on-site physiotherapy include:
- Mobilisations
- Exercise therapy
- Heat therapy
- Soft tissue massage
- Postural exercise and advice
- Electrotherapy
The physiotherapists can also provide a DSE assessment to ensure that employee’s workstation is suitable and will not contribute to any injuries sustained at work.
On-site physiotherapy is an effective method to treat employee’s injuries in a time efficient manner. It can also help prevent the occurrence of other work-related injuries in the future.
